New description:

 I have set "Remove items when transfer is complete" but when I download
 files from my server to my Mac, they are left on the server.

 (The server is on a faster connection, so I download files there, and then
 just FTP them to my Mac.  It's a pain but it saves time overall.  But only
 if I can delete the files off the server when I am done with them)

 I have tried this with ftp and sftp

Comment:

 This feature only removes the item from the transfer queue window; not
 deleting the file on the remote server.
