Comment:

 Check the file permissions using File > Info in Cyberduck and/or
 Finder.app. Using the settings you describe, the permissions you set
 locally in the Finder will be given to the files uploaded. E.g. if you
 have set them to ''Read Only'' in the Finder.app for other users, they
 will not be accessible by public on your web server.
