 I have a large upload running.  when I have Cyberduck in focus, the upload
 rate is around 170KB/sec.  when  I switch away to another app e.g. safari,
 when I switch back I see the speed ramping up from around 30 KB/sec.
 interestingly this doesn't happen when I am typing this ticket !

 my system is Macbook 2.1GHz, 3 GB RAM, latest cyberduck (upgraded
 yesterday).
