 great, so today, exactly coincident with paying for the app, it ceases
 being able to upload.

 Upload in the File menu is greyed out, and using Upload from the
 Connection window, or dragging to the window, results in either (1)
 Permission denied; you may only upload to an "incoming" directory. or (2)
 some msg about too many users logged on.

 these msgs alternate, apparently at random. only 2 people know about the
 ftp site i'm using, and one of them is on vacation. and i'm using the same
 directory as this morning and a week ago, when the uploads worked fine.

 of course i'm on deadline.

 oh, btw, it's version 3.2, but you don't even give me the option for that
 below.
