 In UTF-8 the problem occurs as described above, ISO-8859-1 and
 Windows-1252 works fine.
 I believe UTF-8 is the "new" standard for the web? Shouldn't the client be
 on UTF-8 always and discover required change from that mode automatically?
 Maybe this could become a feature request?
