New description:

Using Cyberduck to access a WebDAV server using https/ssl, things work
fine until a file is uploaded. The upload fails. After a bit for
research, I found that the fix for defect #2858 introduced this problem.
If I comment out the new line of code introduced with changeset r4451, the
 upload works just fine.
