#3873: Moving files / directories on server
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
Reporter: rSonnabend@… | Owner: dkocher
Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: high | Milestone:
Component: core | Version: 3.3b4
Severity: normal | Keywords: moving files directory tree
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
Hi, as far as I can tell I can drag files / directories to any subdir from
the directory on the server that I am currently in. So if I am in ROOT I
can move anything nearly anywhere on the server.
My problem: Lets say I move a file from ROOT to the directory _TEMP_
because I want to try something. After that, there is no going back. As
far as I can tell, I have to download the file in _TEMP_ to my drive and
then upload it to ROOT. Not very elegant. One file is just a little pain,
but let's say I have to move 500 fotos? What a pain!!!!
What I really miss is being able to move files 'upwards' in the tree.
