 The Check for Update menu option results in "Update Error! An error
 occurred in retrieving update information. Please try again later." This
 has occurred since I updated to 3.8.1.

 Status bar at bottom of window display is erratic, often "flickering"
 during file transfer and often remainls "flickering" once transfer is
 complete, resulting in uncertainty if file uploads are successful or not.
