#4240: Cannot shut down my MAC (snow leopard) because Cycberduck is "open"

 Cyberduck isn't open. I cannot deleted Cyberduck from my desktop because
 it says, "can't be moved to trash because it's open" which is it not
 because I actually have to double click on it to start it up again, it
 loads my ftp fine and I quit from the toolbar, and it dissappears from my
 dock. The Duck icon still remains on my desktop. This is preventing any
 shut down or restart of my mac, so it was left on all night. I cannot drag
 it to the trash as I said, because it's "open", but actually not.

 Do you have any suggestions?
