 this is untrue, it is NOT working. and we, quite a big number of us been
 living w/ this problem for months wondering why in the world are the
 permissions all messed up, after checking the entire enterprise
 infrastructure, which took us weeks, only to find it was cyberduck that
 was causing the problems.

 and, yes it is... Preferences → Transfers → Permissions

 fix or not, we've switched to a different ftp client. but i'd hate to see
 such a beautiful software go to waste.
