 In my experience as a therapist, I have found that the pitfalls most

 people find their way by trial and error. The problem with this approach,
 beyond the randomness of its outcomes, is that our lives are finite. Each
 of us has an indeterminate but limited time to figure

 show a peculiar tendency to replicate rather than correct mistakes.
