 I did see that. One of my use cases is for graphic designers to be able to
 upload product images to Amazon S3. I don’t want to rely on them setting
 the metadata.

 Even if you know how to set the metadata, it is a nice convenience. I
 would compare it to the defaults for Preferences > Transfers >
 Permissions. Even though permissions can be set manually later, it’s
 convenient to have them set by default.
