Comment:

 I'd like separate settings too. I need FTP to go through a SOCKS proxy,
 but not anything else. Setting up SOCKS in system preferences will
 activate it for everything.

 This is for the Mac version, but since there is no cross-platform choice
 in the ticket settings, I'll leave it at Windows.
