New description:

Are the FTP passwords saved as plain text or are they encrypted on a local
machine (using a pc and not keychain on a mac). The reason I ask is
because I have recently suffered the virus that attacked the plain text
passwords that Filezilla saves in an XML file. Hopefully Cyberduck saves
 it's FTP account passwords safely.
