New description:

 When trying to connect to my TV set top box via FTP, which was working

 and I could only choose between Cancel and Retry.
 When clicking Retry, the error does not come up again but I am also not
 connected.
 I am quite sure that this worked in pre-4.2 version, but I cannot tell for
 sure when it stopped working properly.
