 to clarify:

 * the corresponding Strato-HiDrive account is fully functional
 * other ftp tools (e.g. FileZilla) work without any issue

 * login to server seems successful, upload creates file on server, cannot
 upload any content
 (meaning: file on server remains 0-byte-length)
