 If one has an unsecure connection using FTP, should one switch to FTP-SSL
 (Explicit Auth TLS)? I tried this and got the following message:


 220 dot5hosting FTP Server Ready
 AUTH TLS
 500 AUTH not understood

 Is this an issue with my web hosting service?
