New description:
per https://trac.cyberduck.io/ticket/6345, this defect was listed as
"closed defect: fixed" however I have the problem now.
Just installed cyberduck and got it working with my Cloud Storage
accounts.
Upload and transfer seem to work correctly).
Upload correctly changes permissions on files.
Edit works except that I need to manually change permissions and metadata
Cache-Control to public.
Manually changing the permissions and metadata is what generates the
error.
"XML you provided was not well-formed or did not validate against our
published schema..."
See attached image files for full error details and other info. Tried to
OCR them, but no success.
