Comment:

 As of r16840 you can set the
 [https://trac.cyberduck.io/wiki/help/en/howto/preferences#Hiddenconfigurationoptions
 hidden properties] `sftp.symlink.absolute` and `ftp.symlink.absolute` to
 `true` to create absolute symbolic links for SFTP and FTP respectively.
