 Replying to dkocher:

 This starts the new questions

Please check the Date & Time setting in System Preferences.
Thanks for the help... I need a little more direction. I am in System
Preferences -- Transfers -- Timestamps. In the Timestamps section I have
only the "Preserve modification date" under downloads checked. Is this
what you are talking about? If not, can you give me step by step
instructions to get to the "Date & Time" setting? It works fine for me at
this location, but my partner in Montreal, Canada is having trouble. Thank
 you for your help.
