 Maybe I haven't been clear enough. What I meant by "manually" was not
 specifying a mapping globally in a preference (that's how I understand
 #5364), but, ermh, "interactively" in the upload dialogue. One could say
 for the ''opposite'' case where I want to override a default preference,
 or set a content type for a batch upload on the fly.
