 I endorse the request. I'm not experiencing any loss of data but the lack
 of a Keep-alive feature is making my work with cyberduck painfully slow
 nonetheless.
 In fact, my ftp server, for safety reasons, has a built-in delay when
 opening connections. This means that if I open a file for edit, and my
 work lasts more then 5 minutes, each time I save I have to wait the
 connection delay.
 The keep-alive feature could simply be an option for the user to choose.
