     Type: enhancement | Status: assigned
 Priority: normal | Milestone: 4.8
Component: ftp | Version: 4.7.3
 Severity: normal | Resolution:
 Keywords: Keep-Alive | Architecture: Intel
 Platform: Mac OS X 10.10 |

Comment (by caraffande):

I endorse the request. I'm not experiencing any loss of data but the lack
of a Keep-alive feature is making my work with cyberduck painfully slow
In fact, my ftp server, for safety reasons, has a built-in delay when
opening connections. This means that if I open a file for edit, and my
work lasts more then 5 minutes, each time I save I have to wait the
 connection delay.
The keep-alive feature could simply be an option for the user to choose.
