 We are seeing an issue when we update v. 4.9.1 to any version 5.x where we
 can't open a new browser window or view our bookmarks after we relaunch
 the app.

 We then have to revert our users to the original version. Basically, we
 can't upgrade our users because they will not see their settings, nor be
 able to even open a new window after they install the newer version.

 Please advise.
