#10232: Password not saved, across several Cyberduck versions

    Priority: normal | Milestone:
   Component: core | Version: 6.4.0
    Severity: normal | Keywords: password
Architecture: | Platform:
-----------------------+----------------------
For years I have been typing my password when the box is checked (and
rechecked) periodically throughout the last few years. It never works. I
keep hoping that an update will fix this. I am licensed user.

 My environment is:
 macOS 10.13.2 (17C88)

My authentication is to a remote Unix host where ssh public key is stored
 here:
 $HOME/.ssh/id_dsa.pub

My private key in on the home directory of my local machine. It works fine
I ssh into the shell at the remote Unix host.

When using CyberDuck, every file transfer is requesting me to enter my
 passphrase for the DSA key.

How can I transfer files without entering the passphrase for every file
 transfer?

After dealing with this for so long I feel my options are limited to
perhaps finding another file transfer program that does not have this
 defect on macOS.
