 I just had the same issue (I set cyberduck as my default FTP using the
 "more internet" prefpane), with a link that didn't have usernames, but did
 have dots in the folder name:
 ftp://ftp.openoffice.org.il/2.0.3/
 (notice that it has a traling slash)
 Cayberduck (Version 2.6.1 (2376)) just gave me an error that the file
 can't be downloaded, instead of opening the folder in it's browser.
