#3129: sort 'files first' option
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------

Component: core | Version: 3.1.2
Severity: normal | Keywords: sort files first

In the cyberduck file browser window click 'Modified' to sort by date, the
most recent first. You see that files and folders come mixed. In various
contexts that is inconvenient. Here is one typical situation: you work in
folder `/` of a server where activity is happening in various subfolders,
so when you refresh the window clicking 'Modified', expecting your file to
appear in top, your file appears somewhere in the middle of many folders
(frequently invisible unless you scroll or resize the windo) because files
got updated by others in these other folders.
So what I suggest is implementing displaying 'files first'. Incidentally,
Rbrowser (the have a lite version for free) has this option. PathFinder
also has this option as that is the reason for using it for various
people. Finally, people that work also in windows platforms are frequently
uncomfortable with the lack of this option. Have it in cyberduck would be
great, I think, and boost its usability/friendliness.
